With a simple and intuitive interface, users can:

Flexible's goal is to empower users with long-lasting, adaptable QR solutions without the need to recreate codes each time their content changes.

01 . Discover

The discovery phase focused on understanding the challenges associated with traditional QR codes. Research showed:

  • Fixed QR codes limit flexibility; they cannot be updated once printed or distributed.
  • Businesses and marketers waste resources by needing to regenerate and redistribute QR codes.
  • There is a demand for a user-friendly QR management system that allows URL updates without changing the code itself.

This research confirmed the need for a dynamic QR solution with real-time editing and customization features.

02 . Idiate

With a clear understanding of the problem, I moved to the ideation phase, where I:

  • Defined the key features required: dynamic link updates, customization options, and an intuitive dashboard.
  • Designed wireframes and UI mockups to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Structured an authentication system using Google Sign-In for seamless onboarding.

The result was a minimalist and functional design that keeps QR code management simple, effective, and accessible.

03 . Test

Before launching, I conducted usability testing to refine the platform’s functionality. This phase involved:

  • User testing to assess the ease of creating and updating QR codes.
  • Gathering feedback on the dashboard layout and QR customization options.
  • Testing across devices to ensure cross-platform compatibility.

This feedback helped optimize the interface, enhance customization controls, and refine real-time link updates for a smoother experience.

04 . Solution

After refining the platform based on testing, I proceeded with the final implementation, which included:

  • A clean and simple UI with step-by-step QR code creation.
  • Instant link updates without altering the existing QR code.
  • Custom QR code design options, allow users to modify size, color, and embedded images.
  • Secure access control with Google authentication for easy user management.
